All Saints Scout Group 50th Birthday Celebration

All Saints Scout Group celebrated their 50th anniversary with an evening of ten pin bowling.

Almost 80 Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and their leaders descended on Accrington Superbowl in December and enjoyed several games of ten pin bowling and a slap up meal of burger, fries and pop.

Later, former Cub leaders Hilary and Ian Alexander were presented with a cut glass crystal decanter and glasses, to commerorate their retirement from the Scout Group.

St Georges Day Parade

All Saints Scout Group took part in the St Georges Day Parade in Accrington on Sunday 22nd April 2007.

St George led the parade on his horse , through the streets of Accrington to St James Church.

There were lots of other Scout groups from across Hyndburn who joined in the parade. St George is the patron saint of Scouting and this year was extra special as we were celebrating 100 years of Scouting.
